DAY 2 - CYCLE 5 - SEMESTER 2

This will be short and sweet. Today was a reading day for Lord of the Flies, and you have your quiz on Act I tomorrow. See yesterday's post for sample questions, and PLEASE use the wikispace study guides to review!

IN LIGHT OF NORTH KOREA'S MISSILE/NUCLEAR TESTS THIS WEEK

If you haven't been following the news this week, North Korea tested two missiles and claims to have conducted another nuclear test (likely true). They're also saber-rattling in another way, claiming that South Korea's recent decision to join US efforts to stop the spread of weapons of mass destruction are tantamount to a declaration of war, and that North Korea is no longer governed by the armistice signed at the end of the Korean conflict. Clearly, "The Great Leader" wants the spotlight, but what are we to do? This article is FYI. Look for bias in the article. It'll be a good refresher on the argument unit.
