DAY 3 - CYCLE 6 - SEMESTER 2

After I collected your creative journals, I designated today as a reading day in preparation for tomorrow's BRIEF quiz which will contain:
  • 5 multiple choice questions on Lord of the Flies;
  • 3 quote identifications on Macbeth, Act II;
  • 2 literary terms identifications on Macbeth, Act II.

Your homework for tonight is to add 4 important quotes for Act III to the wikispace, and 2 examples of literary terms in action. Don't go for monologue/solilioquy. Go for the more complicated ones that involve more interpretive skills to discern, OK?

  1. WE are riding in the grammar truck, and YOU are falling off because YOU are struggling to grasp certain concepts which make up its edge-rails. WE are all on a journey to Perfect Spelling Land. In order for YOU to understand sentence diagramming so YOU can stay on the truck more easily, it is essential for YOU to find the handrails of knowledge and secure yourself with the glue of syntax (5.95 at most Wal-Marts). Only when you gain the supplies of comprehension of the diagramming of sentences can we all be a cohesive, functioning group of
    grammar diagrammers (<<<----PUN!!!!!!). Let us not be the bad apples of "lack of knowledge" that easily bounce out of our truck that is guiding us to perfect spelling land, but rather the heavy ripe pumpkins, jammed pack with information that will help us be ready to know all we can and ace the totalitarian leader of PSL's ultimate sentence diagramming test.

    An example of conceit. I also have nothing else to do right now.
